My Whirlwind Romance – BBW BWWM Erotic Story

My Whirlwind Romance - BBW BWWM Erotic StoryWaking up in California had its advantages. Sunshine liked to spend its time pouring into the cracks of the morning. For West Coasters, sunrise was always tardy, the three hour gap from east to west, serving to remind the riser that the sun had saved the best for last.

There were other advantages as well. Waking up to the lean muscle next to her for example. Jade’s life hadn’t been quite the same since Lucas Peters walked back into it from somewhere in her braces and unlaced Reebok past. There was still the grind, the everyday life in the lab, working to make a bigger and better athlete, and there was still Tiger, the world’s most spoiled feline, but there was so much more.

Toothbrushes came by two’s these days- towels were found on the floor once in a while. Breakfast had a habit of happening when she least expected it- Lucas was an early riser- and dishes seemed to multiply.

Lucas was a breath of fresh air, if not much help for fresh laundry.

Over Lucas’s softly snoring chest, she could see 7:00 peering at her, fifteen minutes before the alarm was ready to start yelling. It was becoming a habit; waking up to watch Lucas, running fingers over the run of his muscles, just to check if he was really there. This morning was no exception. She followed the sun with a light hand, tracing the corner of Lucas’s cheek.

Without opening his eyes, he spoke. “Morning JJ…” Sleep was roughing up his voice. “Can I get up now or do you have more fondling to do?”

“How long have you been awake?”

“Since about two fondles ago- !”

The pillow thump took him out of the bed.

Jade danced the coffee crush in the kitchen as she and Lucas tried to pull themselves together—Jade was headed to the final run of pre-release meetings for Trexgora, and Lucas was heading into all week meetings at Mountain View. The giant search engine was gearing up for some more acquiring, and they were leveraging Lucas’s fresh point of view for fresh profits.

Which meant seeing less of Lucas.

They’d already worked up to sharing the house over the weekend- her place was his until Monday through Friday said otherwise. The next step was hanging and she knew it- Lucas would be out of his walk up the coast in no time, and decorating her evenings full time. Anytime now, she knew he’d suggest it, and it would be time to clean out another couple of drawers, and get Tiger used to it.

Only anytime hadn’t come as of yet.

She knew Lucas was busy. Letting go of his company and going back under the yoke had been hard on him, although the loose rein from MV made it easier. What wasn’t easy was the schedule, the juggling of priorities and the meshing of two giant companies that, after two months of Lucas’s time, still acted unmeshed. Knowing all that didn’t help though- after spending so much effort to get past her defenses, Lucas had put the army on hold and Jade wanted to be, knew she should be, but wasn’t -patient.

Jade’s life was getting more hectic as well. The lab had given her a promotion after the second trials on Trexgora went through with flying colors. Now she and Kristen were project managers with multiple products to consider, which meant less time. The weekend before, she and Lucas had missed each other completely, both of them going through crazy times, and both of them exhausted. Tiger and Jade shared a blue funk.

This weekend coming was different though. Jade sipped her coffee and listened to Lucas sing off key in the bathroom and smiled, feeling a little silly at being so excited, but enjoying it anyway. Come Friday, she and Lucas were heading up North. With the winter here to stay, White Pass was flush with powder, and Lucas had bought the full ride, instructions and all. Jade giggled thinking about the last time she’d been on skis. She was going to need the help!

Whether we ride the lift or not, we need this! Jade was looking forward to, more than anything, a stop-the-world-I-want-to-get-off moment with Lucas where they could be just he and she, Lucas and Jade, and forgetting about being CFO and Head Researcher for a bit.

Which reminded her- One week! I have to get things packed!

Lucas came out of the bathroom, mostly put together, tie crooked enough to need to be straightened, which Jade was sure was intentional. He struck his best goofball pose in the hallway.

“How do I look?”

“Crooked. “

“Madame, I have the highest standards for ethical…” His best stuffy British, which always made Jade smile despite herself.

“Your tie Romeo. Come here.” She grabbed the offending neck piece and reeled him in, stopping his forward motion with a healthy kiss. After that, when she knew she had his full attention she let him go, straightening the tie and acting like nothing had happened.

“You are pure evil JJ.” This from very close.

“Remember it!” She spun him and slapped him on the butt. “Now grab your tablet and let’s get going- I have a meeting too, remember?”

Luc’s eyebrows shot up! “JJ, you’ve been practicing! You could almost order a panini with that accent! Although– you really want to put the heavy accent on the second…” He stopped, noting the raised eyebrow. In a flash he was down the hall, grabbing his tablet before she could snap him with the tea towel from the oven door.

Morning traffic midwinter was lighter than normal, and without all the Californio’s to curse, Jade found herself with a tiny bubble of Lucas’s morning. He was fiddling with the radio, trying to tune in the Foo Fighters as he drove. Jade reached a caramel hand over and turned the radio down. Far down.

She saw Lucas twitch his lip to the side, something he said Bruce Willis had borrowed from him. He moved to pass a Vanegon, and then spoke. “Yeeesss?”

“We need to talk about the weekend.”

“Oh! Why didn’t you say so- I was afraid this was the part where you propose and I have to accept tearfully…ow!”

Jade punched him in the arm to cover up for the catch in her breath that had shown up out of nowhere at Lucas’s words.

“You can’t afford me.” They both knew that wasn’t true. Lucas’s net worth was grazing the billion ceiling if not over. It was something they didn’t talk about, something Lucas didn’t push on her, but it was a real thing. Lucas was staggeringly wealthy- Jade still didn’t know how to wrap her mind around that. Once upon a time, this same Lucas could barely afford the comic books he pestered her with. Things change- to the tune of the Mercedes he drove – or Tank his driver, drove for him sometimes- and the free pass to nearly anything that came from Lucas just being his rich self. It was hard for Jade to swallow. She shook off that line of thought and went back to the subject.

“No, I mean when and how- I’m done with my research board meeting by three on Friday and Kristen’s already said she’ll cover. She wants to stay close to home anyway…”

“I know- Tank told me.” Lucas shook his head at that, and Jade had to agree. No one in a million years would have pictured her dark haired feisty beauty of a friend stepping out with Lucas’s giant Polynesian driver and college buddy. That went out the window a month ago though- the two had hit it off almost instantly, trading bar jokes and scar stories. “He says Kristen has him heading to Yoga?”

Jade couldn’t help it. The image of the burly driver decked out in yoga pants and twisted in a knot had her bursting out laughing. Lucas joined in, and for a moment everything was sighs and wheezes as Lucas wove through the traffic.

Recovering, Jade tried again. “Seriously Lucas. We have to get out the door by four if we’re going to catch the right flight up- you know how the security is.” Thinking on that, Jade realized he probably didn’t. When was the last time Lucas had flown commercial? Jade had insisted they go dutch on the tickets and absolutely refused to let Lucas fly them up on his Lear. They were going to do this like a normal couple or not at all. Lucas hadn’t really understood- or so he said- but he had accepted so the tickets were bought and paid for, and the plans made.

He chimed in from the driver’s seat. “Right- I’m done by eleven at MV – unless Malcom decides we need another hour of shuffling numbers.” Malcom could do that from what Jade understood. Malcom was the thorn in her side that had cost Jade the last weekend with Lucas. She hadn’t ever met Malcom. She didn’t like him.

My Whirlwind Romance BWWM Romance“Malcom better come ready to cough up some deposit money if he costs me that flight—“

“He’s really a nice guy JJ. Donates to everything under sun- philanthropist. Personally knew Ghandi-“

Jade smirked at that. “Sure.” Focusing, she bore down. “No, but really, we need to get this down. I’m going to double check the room times up at White Pass, and you- “ She emphasized her point with a good poke to his arm. “-Are going to make sure the rentals are nailed down.”

“Oui, mon commandant!” He let go of the wheel with one hand to snap off his best French Foreign legion salute. He held it just long enough to tempt Jade to poke him again, then continued. “I’ll get on it the first time I’m online. Promise.” He put on a mock pleading voice. “Just please no more pokes.”

She poked him anyway.

Jade watched Lucas spin off down the short road back to the interstate then gathered her things and pushed past the yawning entrance to Genexco. She was running about fifteen late after the traffic but the nice thing about being the ‘head’ was that she only had to answer to herself. Herself and the principal investors that is- though with Trexgora looking like the smash success she was sure it was, that wouldn’t be an issue.

Two levels down, she breezed into the labs, still wearing a trace of Lucas’s lips on the corner of her smile. Kristen looked up from a fat book of cross research sheets.

“Hello better late than never- how was your weekend?” Her friend’s thick New York accent never ceased to make sarcasm from anyone else seem like amateur hour. Jade kept what was left of her poker face.

“Hey Kris.” She set down the stack of folders she’d brought back from the house, and dropped her laptop on top of it. “This weekend? No big deal- the usual.”

Kristen’s eyebrows shot up and she threw in a Bronx twist to her lips. “So- fine dining- some time at the beach, passionate lovemak-“ Jade’s raised palm and school girl laugh stopped her.
“My lips are sealed-“

“Now anyway…”

“Kris!” Jade stared in mock horror at her dark haired friend. “Is it my work you’re supposed to be doing?”

Kristen laughed and pushed back from her desk. “Amen sister. I’ve been cracking the review on the final coding placements since about half an hour before you woke up in Mr Tall Dark and Goofy’s arms.“ The tan beauty sighed. “ We do have a lot to get done babe”

It was true. Trexgora was just a sign on the dotted line from going full active in the test market, which meant now was crunch time – she and Kristen needed to finalize their reports and get the last paperwork submitted by Thursday.

So I can be in a ski lodge by Friday night…

That thought took her to the upcoming weekend. It was the kind of thing that really only happened in the sitcoms or in those crazy romances that her friends mothers all read. She was heading into winter country with a man that most women would drool over- someone who she could trust with every little thing in her life. They’d been getting closer by the moment, every time they were together, to the point where she couldn’t help the school girl rush of just smelling his shaving gel in the morning when he did stay over. It bothered her, deeply bothered her that there was so much Lucas in her life now, but there wasn’t any helping it. She-

Kristen’s long nailed snapping fingers brought Jade back to reality. “Hey- snow princess. How about we spend some time comparing notes on this code? Here I mean, in reality land? “

Jade blushed and nodded. “Sorry Kris. Pass them over.”

It was hard not to notice the glee in Kristen’s eyes as the stack settled.

The week went by as more of the same. Tuesday and then Wednesday passed and the stack of checking and rechecking protocols, making sure nothing was missed, became a blur. There was staff to help of course, but the two researchers had been crossing over each other’s work for so long it was second nature. That, and Trexgora had been their baby since the beginning and Jade wasn’t about to let someone else’s shortsighted review tank the project. This was big time and Genexco’s reputation was on line- that meant hers was as well.

Lucas was busy up in Mountain View country- not too busy to call but too busy to make it back down. The last time they spoke, he assured her that he’d gotten everything squared away at the lodge- even emailed her the confirmation. From the sound of his voice, she could tell that the upcoming weekend was just as exciting for him as it was for her.

Not that she knew why. Top to bottom-and there was some bottom- she was barely over five foot three. Her mother had blessed her with a caramel brown complexion, a gift from the Jamaican islands she hailed from, but she’d gotten her father’s genes for figure. Tony Brawley was a well rounded giant of a man, and in Jade that translated to some serious curves. In the land of the Sun, where everyone was bikini armored that made Jade stand out- or more likely, stand in. The size eight to ten crowd didn’t have much use for the mid teens where Jade stayed, but she was comfortable with herself. Apparently, so was Lucas. When they were together he took his time with the soft curves of-

Jade Brawley- now is not the time!

Her mental whip snap drove the thoughts of Lucas and the way he moved out of her mind. For the moment.

In front of her was the final sign off on the go for full trial. Trexgora, for all intents and purposes, was ready to be handed off to the marketing department whose job it was to turn boring medical concoctions into household names. She’d already met with Maxson Smith, the head marketer – he at least let her keep the name- she’d worked on Trex for so long that she didn’t know what she’d call it otherwise. Max had actually called it inspired! Now though, with the final dots to be put on the final I’s she found she was hesitating. It had nothing to do with Trexgora- it had everything to do with Lucas.

With his work and her work as a buffer, Jade didn’t have to think about next steps too far down the line. Normal protocol at the lab said once a project was in wrap up, the researchers got a break, a chance to recharge the creative and scientific juices that made Genexco the up and comer in the sports research world that it was. A break, and it was usually at least a month, meant she’d have nothing to do but focus solely on herself.

And Lucas.

Lucas was still such a mystery to her. She knew him; had known him forever it seemed like, but this Lucas with his globetrotting bank account and his mastery of European language was like a being from another universe. He hadn’t changed since the night at Genneti’s- he was quick to smile, quick to laugh, quick to get under her skin, but there were parts of him that she couldn’t wrap her mind around. The fact that her body had no such qualms made it all muddled in her brain. What she was hoping for from this weekend, despite all the fluffed white perfection, was a glimpse at the real Lucas- the one that had grown out of the gawky boy she’d grown up with so long ago back in Danbury. She needed to know that Lucas, to see how, if, he fit into her life now.
